Turn signal gone berserk
Why did my left turn signal decide to switch to double time today? The right is fine, same as always. What blew?

I sat in my driveway for a second tonight after work and I could see the front left signal on my garage door. It was going almost exactly double the speed of the right one. I didn't check the back. It wouldn't surprise me if the tail blew cause it had alot of water in there after it rained.

might be time for a little sealant for the lenses

Nope all the corner lights are good. I put on the 4-ways too and it's the same normal speed.

Could it be wiring or fuses? Its not that big of a deal, just annoying and embarasing and it wont pass inspection in the end of April.
Edit:

Should have just turned on the side thats acting up. and no headlights or parking lights. do that and let us know
|
I did that too and the back is good but blinks real fast. Could it be from a blown brake light? And if you think i'm going back out there tonight you've got something wrong with your head.

I think the water comes in at the top of my hatch and works its way into the tail lights from inside the car. I don't normally have much of a problem with it cause I park under a big ass pine tree, except for when it rained monday night. I'm actually thinking of drilling a couple of 1/8th inch holes in the bottom of the plastic so the water can drain out instead of pooling up.

does it act like a strobe light? if so that'll be pretty cool to see lol but my guess it COULD be a relay or something.

Probably a bulb like stated, but if not, then it's gotta be a fuse or relay.

Found it, it's the driver's side bumper light. In this pic you can actually see it hanging down in front of the tire. I knew I should have zip tied that thing up.

I have no support beam behind the bumper, plu they were duct taped in there from the last owner. The body on this car is in bad shape. As soon as I get the body kit ordered ima start a build thread.
