Yeah, I love that CRX. That's the elusive "special edition" wing that nobody has been able to get OEM. It looks like mine but doesn't have the center pedistal. The interior of that CRX is almost to good to drive everyday....it looks out of place in a CRX
Where and when were they sold??

I know they were sold in Europe. That's about all the information i've been ever to track down.
What's weird is they list "special alloys" for the exclusive and they're 90-91 Si rims. And it has 88-89 corner lights and tail lights.
I have the CRX Exclusive brochure. I uploaded a while ago and posted it on SHO but i might of deleted it from my photopost account. I can upload it again tomorrow night if you want.
edit: and i've seen that spoiler for sale before on ebay haha. It was a while ago though (like 3 years ago). I rarely look for spoilers so i wouldn't notice if it was on there.

The canadian Special Edition CRX is even more rare, only 200/300 were made I believe, but its a lot more like OEM CRX with less "cool" or special features.

There is still a good dozen or 2 still known to be in existance and good condition. People take care of those pretty good. Canandians cry when they see one all rusted to death beat up/falling apart with the SE vin on it. They have a list going somewhere to try to see which ones are still in existance, its like a VIN roll call kinda thing.

There's a couple in my city. The all came silver with the siR spoiler. Not much different other than that. I talked to one guy who had one, he was kind of a dick though and clearly had no idea how rare his car was. It had some rear fender rust, but that's not out of the ordinary.

I don't think it's ever been sold in europe... at least i've never seen one, and all the pics i've ever seen of those things were right hand drive... so it could only be the UK where they've been sold originally...
I reckon it's one of those things the Japanese kept for them selves again...
