Accord Climate Control
just ran across this and thought it was interesting:

Mine isn't cracked but i know a lot of CRX's are so this is a cool/cheap alternative.

just be careful if you do the swap since the knobs tend to break on the plastic collar that connects to the actual adjustment shaft (they are cheap and easy to replace, but figured it would be better to give a heads up ahead of time)

Oh my god!! I remember those knobs!! When I was a parts guy for Honda we used to keep those knobs next to the oil filters they broke so much. Mechanics would come to the counter and ask for an oil change and a climate control knob!

You can also buy reinforcment plates for your existing cracked climate control. I am keeping one for a backup but I have an extra one if anybody needs it. I bought 2 off of ebay on accident, I only needed one. They are painted black metal plates that epoxy onto the front of the climate controls. They run $10-$20 on ebay.

thats why you wrap electrical tape around the collar few times then stick those bastards in. replaced mine two years ago and before i poped those in i taped the collar and viola no problemo. wonders of pvc tape.
