Member/CRX updates??
I admit I haven't been frequenting TJ much in the last several months with school and all. But, it looks like things are kinda dead here lately...kinda sad because there was a pretty nice group of guys here. Anyway, I figured I'd start a thread for folks to give updates (still have a crx, switched to another car, done any modifications, anything interesting...).
I've dismantled my red auto crx since the rust was just too much to bother restoring, but my black one is nearing completion ever so slowly. It's been repainted and now must cure while I rebuild the sunroof and do other miscellaneous restorative things. I've even got brand new Teg knuckles and konis with GC's for it but it may be another year before I get around to it. In fact, I only drove the thing sparingly for about a month before I had to rebuild the front suspension. Then right after that I took it to the painter so it has been one very long waiting game for me.

I sold my black crx to my brother and bought a red s2000 hardtop. Still have the HF for a winter beater for now but it doesn't get modded or anything.
I've been holding off on modding anything too much for now. Trying to pay down the s2000 and buy a townhouse or house in the spring so priorities are towards that. I'm hoping to be comfortable enough in a year or so to start the first phase of my drag project... which sucks because I saw the perfect car for sale a couple months ago but there was no way I could jump on it.

Well, I've been tearing down the DX to put the ZC in, and sold the Datsun to buy my 76 Celica Fastback.

Sold the SI last year for a 97 Z28. Here's a pic from our local car show right after I got married.
Parked for the winter awaiting new suspension, 17 x 9.5 wheels and tires

The bolts holding the cold side of my turbo together all worked themselves out and are now gone(not the bolts used for clocking the turbo). So now i have to take the whole turbo out and make sure the wheel isnt damaged. Anyone know what size those bolts are? Its a garrett t3/60-1. Just moved so Im trying to clear the garage so I can get the car in there and work on it. Im also looking for an integra shell *gasp* to switch the whole powerplant and everything into...

Ugh, those 18" wheels need to go. Otherwise, that's a pretty sweet car! My roommate has a b16-swapped HF and it's just a bundle of joy to drive.

- Wife has a 2008 Infiniti G35x
- I still have my CRX although it's not back together due to the time I'm spending with our new house stuff.
- I'm using my 2002 Odyssey EX-ent as my daily.
- For fun I just purchased a 2009 Accord Coupe V6 - 6spd - navi. I was supposed to pick it up on X-mas eve but the weather is gonna suck, so I'm waiting til the end of the week or beginning of next.

Hey haven't spoken to you in a while. Congratulations on the new edition coming. With that out of the way...... don't sell the car, you really shouldn't have to I mean really it's a CRX you're not gonna get much for it. If anything take it off the road and hang on to it. CRXs are worth much more now in sentiment than money.
Also, are you selling parts or importing or something?? I got a wierd email from you the other day but I wasn't sure if someone spoofed your email address book.

Someone hacked my email. Sorry about that. They sent an email to everyone on my email list. It was a mess with everyone returning "hey you got hacked messages" to "delievery error messages."
As for the car, if I can fetch a few grand to use towards a new family transporter, it will be a huge help. I hate car payments, and on top of that the cycling bug has gotten the best of me and all my extra $$ and time goes towards that. I've got lots of racing to do this summer and little time to train with the little one on the way. Entry fees, travel costs, and bike parts, even with discounts, add up.

Hey guys. Ive been on and off but post very rarely. After the gs-r was stolen 2 years ago i pretty much gave up on modding. Wasnt gonna invest money so others could reap the benefits of my time and work ya know. I have an 04 Matrix in yellow and black. Came with the trd rims and what not. I got it cuz I got a really sweet deal on it. Its an 04 with 36k and toyota Pre-owned certefied (which doesnt really mean shit) for 10k. BTW i got it in april of 08 and now its jan 09 and its got 60k on the clock!!!!!! Not even a full year yet and ive doubled the mileage! Blue book at the time was above 15k. Other than that just working and stashing cash to invest in my side business. Its very dull to be me right about now. I got my ps3 and my wii to keep me company when my girl isnt being a pain in the ass (which is often).

...very interesting to see how everyone is doing and their car relationships :P. I hear ya on being dull white gsr. I've transferred to Auburn University for grad school, which was a good move on my part but my life is still just a lot of studying. My crx's paint is still curing at the moment. It's funny...at first I thought I would do some light modding to it but now I've reached the point where I just don't care anymore and want it as stock and functional as possible.

I've been going through spurts where I have no idea what I want to do. It's weird having income where I actually could do the plans I think about.
I just bought Tanabe springs and a Spoon Valve Cover/Spark plug cover for the s2000. Planning to flip the valve cover to pay for the spark plug cover though.

wow.. it's been a really long time since i've been back here...
I still have my red crx. Been trying to hit up the road courses more these days. Went out to Streets of Willow a few times. Since i've been to the track, i've broken and fixed:
2 ball joints
2 tie rods
radiator mount
hood latch cable
2 wheel bearings
flat spotted 3 tires
and i still love it!
