The seat belts are mounted wrong and could be dangerous. It could be lower of course too but i'm sure that's on the list.

Outside of that, I like it a lot. Reminds me of what I need to do to my HF.

Nice, ever think about swapping in a d16a6 out of an si? And get the roll cage before the turbo.

ok so i finally have my cold air intake...now i just have to locate tools to swap that and the stock out...

i was reading somewhere that a guy took something like heat wrap and wrapped his intake, it makes sense to a point because for a while it would keep the heat at bay..but after a while wouldn't heat soak be a problem?
anyone heard of this..it seems kind of sketchy

Actually, just the velocity of air going through your intake can heat it up enough to negate the short-term gains. Wrapping your intake isn't really a good idea. Putting up a PVC/plastic/aluminum/etc separator is a good idea.

Let's see if these pics actually embed properly... I doubt that they will:

Basically, the aim is to isolate your hot engine bay air from your cool intake air, and it could net you a hp or two, depending on your application.

the heat wrap has the same promise..but after a while it seems like it would just heat up itsself and insulate the hot air to the intake charge.

and your pics didnt work.

when it comes to steady state temperatures though the amount of heat transfer from a short pipe to the air charge (especially in a 2"+ pipe) is minimal. I don't have my heat transfer book handy but next time I do i'll go through the calculations and figure it out, i just know it isn't enough to worry about. There will be a very small gain, but the money/effort is better spent elsewhere.

If you can reduce the temperature of the intake charge at the start you'll see much better gains.

Something like a BPi Flow Stack is a much better investment than heat wrap on an intake.
