I can assure you he's not going down the road I did. The bottom end is stock he just put TODA spec B cams, valve springs, cam gears. Hytech header and RS*R exhaust. Lot's of suspension work and 100% polished and powder coated. When it leaves my house the rest of the car is going to get painted.
He likes to mod cars but doesn't need to be a superstar when it comes to HP. He also has an NSX, and TSX. He's like me is the sense that the CRX was one of his first cars (not that particular one though).

As far as "clean" this guy is crazier than me!! He's an industrial designer and entrepreneur and his attention to detail is quite amazing. Here's some photos of the underside of his CRX. The rest of the car will look this clean when he's all done. It's going to the body shop when it leaves my house.

Just had to post this shot of his garage...... yeah, I miss my NSX!!
This is his company.... he makes wicked little wood cars for toddlers. They come apart and you can interchange the parts to make your own.

Man, I love your builds. I especially like the awesome pictures you take. That guy's garage is pretty damn sweet. What's the estimated power out of this engine all said and done?

I have to get the name of the stuff, it's by 3M and he had to buy a dedicated spray gun for it. It really looks amazing.

that garage is sweet, the car looks like it just left honda yesterday and was already taken apart by some madman or men. 200whp in a crx is going to do alot of damage. Is he ever planning on building up the block? Or reinforce it?

I don't think so. He's really leaning towards gutting a lot of stuff and increasing performance by going lighter. Rather than what I did, which I refer to as the "Mercedes Benz" method..... you want a heavy car to go faster? Just keep adding HP
Pat has seen my car blow up twice and he knows how meticulous I am. So with that said he really is cautious about what he's doing. He wants to build a car that is clean, light, visually appealing, fast and reliable.
