Well here's a photo that I photo chopped when I was building my car. I was very close to doing this and I wanted to see how it looked. Obviously you know what I choose I don't think this looks too bad just a little too rice.
As a comparison here's a NSX with a half painted hood that has been blended rather than masked. Personally I don't like this look.

Ah, thanks John those are the pictures I wanted to see. CRX hood doesn't really look that bad at all but I think it'd be better just leaving it alone NSX hood looks halfassed like that IMO. The sunroof will be painted for sure.

Honestly, i think the sunroof would go well with the hood, just leaving it CF. I have a black sunroof on my blade silver 88 and i think it offsets the trim really well. I like it. Just my .02

Here's a photochop I did with my original intentions! Not my car but I put in the black hood and black roof. I obviously went with the black roof but kept the hood all unpainted.

I have a question, a stupid one I'm sure, but with the JDM bumper you just get the basic reinfocement (if you opt for it) which is what...2 mph approved I believe.
Is there anyway the USDM reinforcement would fit in the bumper, I'm sure it doesn't, but anyway you can make it fit without damaging the bumper or having to ghetto rig it.
Just a question I had, i think I'm going to do the JDM front end thing on my other CRX when I put the GSR engine in it, oh how I can't wait until the week after next, get to start on the swap.
Also, if I can ask it here, a question for Jadkar or anyone else with a JDM cluster, did you wire the fuel gauge thing? I've always wanted to do that and my friend has a JDM cluster which I will probably use on my CRX, but was wondering how hard is it to wire? I've always wanted one, I get scared after driving for 5 days and it is on E, then I go fill up and it fills up in 8 gallons.

The USDM bumper bar will not fit under the JDM one without a lot of hacking and looking like dog. As far as the fuel warning light, this is on my "to do list". The only reason I didn't already is because you need to buy an integra fuel sender (it has a switch for low level) and I had just bought a brand new CRX one about 1 week earlier. After you replace the sender that you need to run a seperate wire from the cluster back to the teggy fuel sender.
The other thing I am going to do when I tackle this project is get the little CRX on the cluster to work. To do that I have to run wires to the two doors and the hatch back.

Here's where I am so far. Pretty slow progress since I'm building a B17A1 and still waiting on my damn front end to come in.

Planning on getting black Mugen MR-5's. Can anyone think of another wheel that could look anywhere half as good for less money? Because the current deal I'm working on is quite a chunk of cash.
