Exhaust Pics - Tuner-Junction

Now that the "beast" is back on the road, I was able to finish out my exhaust(was just running open downpipe). I went with two 24" Dynomax glasspack resonators($40 a piece), specifically to reduce the sound level. 3" straight back with a turn down at the end. It ends just before the gas tank. I welded it all together and made the custom hangers. All together it cost me 100 bucks, not bad for custom 3" exhaust. The sound is AMAZING! Def. does not sound like a ricer honda....I was amazed at how much it lowered the sound as well. Its very tolerable, and I feel comfortable starting the car at 2am and not pissing off the neighbors. The only down side is that its low....but its not a daily driver and that is the highest I could get it without hitter the shifter and having a little "bounce" room. I love it though, Ill get some sound vids this weekend. I also fixed my oil leak problem....we warped the first pan when we welded the bung for the oil return, so new pan, new bung and I welded on a oil temp bung, so now I have oil temperature! Im boosting about 15psi right now, as soon as I get the checkengine light cured its off for tuning....400hp anyone?

that looks pretty good for only 100 bucks...and is a full 3inch..cant wait to hear how is sounds..

can you bend the hangers some and tuck it up more? Or does it hit the shift linkage?

I'd also like to hear it.

Nah, no cat...Im in Florida so there are no emissions or inspections of any kind.

I could maybe go 1/2" to an 1" higher, but I wanted to leave it room to bounce. That way when I go over a bump it doesnt bounce up and slam the shifter...I figure its either going to drag the tip or slam the shifter so I opted for it to drag the tip a little....Its a full 3" but with the glasspacks the outside is about 5" so thats really the main reason it doesnt tuck very well.

I've alway wondered about making a turn down angled to one side of the car just to try and get the interior noise just a little quieter
