Suspension Settle

How long should it take for my springs and shocks to settle fully? I've had my Koni yellows and H&R Sports on for 2 or 3 weeks now. However, the driver's side front is 1/2" lower than the passenger side front. Both rear sides are the same. I measured from the center of the wheel well to the ground in my garage.

I pulled the wheel off to see if something wasn't sitting right on the passenger side, but from what I can tell, everything is in order. Is this just an issue of the driver side settling first because that's the side that there's someone always sitting on? Any other ideas?

My Progress system took about 3 months to "fully" settle... Jadkar's got the same suspension as I do, I think he could help... but ya just wait it out another month or so. It'll be fine

Thanks for the info buddy. As I drive it more, it'll probably help the process along.

This is so wierd!! I know I answered this!! Ever have a thread where you type all this crap and then submit and it doesn't go? This must have been one of them.

Anyway......

My Progress suspension took about 1 month of driving (very hard driving) to settle down. It settled so much I had to raise it back up. My NSX took a whooping 4 months to get the front where I wanted it.

Thanks for the personal experience. When you think about it, a half inch isn't all that much, but then again, for someone who pays attention to details, it is a noticable difference. I guess if the measurement was the same on the driver's side and the passenger side, I wouldn't have noticed. I'll just calm down for a couple months and we'll see where it's at.

That is the no.1 reason i got coilovers. I had neuspeed springs on my crx and the driver's side looked, to me anyway, like it was almost an inch lower than the pass side.

give it atleast a month and drive it around and maybe sit in the passanger seat once and a while maybe that will give it a lil push or get a 50 pound bag of sand and toss it in the passanger side to help some while driving.or two of them to simulate a very light actual person in the other seat.
