new driveshafts
So it seems like so much crap has to be replaced with my new build and it's starting to PISS ME OFF!!!
My axles since they were bought with the intention of an NA build are gonna have to be upgraded or else I may blow them up!! They are HASPORT stage I and only rated at 225whp. So really my last build was past their limits
Anyway, since I wasn't 100% happy with my last axles does anyone have any suggestions where I could pick up some axles??

I've heard good things about gator but don't have first hand experience with any of the mentioned companies.
I say you use the hasports til they snap and then take lots of demolition pics for us

The problem with running them till they break, is they always break when your like 100miles from your house, at the track or whatever. Resulting in one heck of towing bill to get the car back to your house to put the new axles in. I actually got lucky, cause I just twisted my cv joint, and was like 2 minutes from my house. But Id say driveshaft shop, thats what Im going to be getting, they are EXSPENSIVE but you cant beat the results from their in house testing.....

This is exactly my problem. The last thing I need is to have another failure on Jeff's dyno. The tow was about $150- plus I don't want to have a rep with him for having to two breakdowns on his dyno. Equally as embarrassing would be blowing them at the start line at E-Town

Your best bet change axles now..and you wont have to worry about it..you already know your hp range is over the rating for the hasports.
upgrade to the driveshaftshop level 2.9 there rated at 475hp...
you can keep the hasports for back up's..

Well the HASPORTS are just about sold. Also, the drive shaft shop is stupid expensive. I sent Gator drive shaft an email (since I can't talk) and I'm still waiting to here back. Now as much as I wasn't thrilled with the HASPORTS their stage II axles is rated at 400whp and they are only $400- so I still maybe going that route. However if I do I am gonna have a long talk with them.
On a good note it doesn't look like I will have to change my clutch or pressure plate. It looks like I'll be right at the limit with the ACT heavy duty pressure plate and my Street performance disc should do the trick as well (it's the last version they sell before moving up to a "puck" style.

sounds good..I say go with the hasports then..400 bucks..that also half the price of one axle from driveshaftshop..
plus you had experience with the hasports alxes..and know they work good..

I think thats why he was looking else where, not just because of the power rating, but just the fact that he didnt like them for some reason, I could be wrong....

First off I replaced two outer boots in less than 5K miles......unacceptable
Second I have a strange vibration and I'm not sure if it's the driveshaft (we'll find out)
Third, when my axles cam in they looked beautiful, after 5K miles thay look like they have been sitting at the bottom of a lake. I can't believe the corrosion on them.
I called Gator today and they gave my a pretty damn good price on their Stage II axles so it looks like I'm going that route. I also spoke to Magnuson and they told $700- for a new blower, which is not that bas at all.
......We're gettg there!!

Thanks bro!! I'm a bit confused now. The issue is the price, I was never gonna change the axles in the first place but now with the additional power I need to. It's just have you seen the DSS axles prices
