hhmmm...Well Kev explain what you mean because in my head what Will says seems correct. If you put a spacer between the hub and the wheel it will push the wheel further towards the outside which will cause me then to rub on my fender lip (which I'm currently not). Right now I'm nicely tucked inside the fender.
Pictures coming soon (now that we have totally hijacked the thread)

"it's rubbing on the steel portion of the inner fender well."
which initiated my first reply.
OF COURSE decreasing the offset puts the wheel further out. but when most ppl say 'inner fender well' they are referring the the inner wheel well. not the outer fender. otherwise u would say 'OUTER'.
thats why a pull to accomodate the wheels being further out will help take into consideration the lower offset (that is helping clearance INNER WHEEL side). and more camber helps 'fitment slip'

ok......what's funny about this is it's either gonna help describe the rub or make it worse. I didn't realize how much depth perception would be lost in a photo. It's almost impossible to see the flat part of the inner fender that I'm talking about because everything just looks black.

this is very common with silvia's. either at the front inner wheel well or the rear of the inner wheel well
dependant also on ur castor
this common problem can be fixed quite easily by hammering that rub area. seems like its been rubbing long enough to cause marks. easiest way is to hammer that area (it shows up clearly in ur wheel wells anyway)
just heat up the area a bit, and hammer away. all s-chassis and ae86 owners do this.........ALOT. its really nothing new
YES spacers will help. it will offset that space on inside turn.
really depends how much space u have left on the outer. u dont need much clearance because of how suspension geometry works with travel. remember it moves up and IN.
thus u can have the tiniest of clearances. credit card fitment. camber can also help the wheel 'slip in' but it really depends how much u need to clear. if ur happy with the setting u currently have. try to keep it. but u wont need much.
each degree of camber more negative = 5mm the wheel moves further in at the top point.

yeah dont feel bad about hitting wheel weels. as long as
1. ur not hammering near mounts for ur strut tops
2. ur not hammering and bending frame rails. u can hammer ON them (not that u need to in this case) but as long as u dont bend them.
dont feel bad. its to a lesser degree how we do rear overfenders. cut shut and weld etc. but this is just minor well modifying.
u'll be ok. tell us how goes it

Trust me I have no reservations about using large hammers....... You have to see how much I pounded to get the Supercharger to install correctly
