Funny idle since cleaning TB

Hey there...

I've got something weird since i've cleaned my throttle body today.

All i did was take it off, clean inside and outside, replace the gasket and put it back on again.

I took both the coolant lines off, linked them together so the throttle body heating is not connected any more.

As soon as i started the car the idle rpm fluctuated a bit, it sort of idles at 1200rpm, and dips to 800 every 5 seconds...

I tried to fiddle with the vaccuum lines a bit, but no success there.

Could this be because i took off the coolant lines, or would it be something else?

Oh the engine is a b16a running on a b16a1 ecu with obd0

did you mess with the fast idle thermo valve or idle air control valve?

No, that's the stupid thing, didn't mess with anything... all i can think of is that i didn't bleed the system good enough and that there's air messing around in the idle valve now..

yeah, you could take the radiator cap off, turn the car on and let it run. it'll bubble if you've got air. other than that, i'm not sure. what did you clean it with?
