Tire question.
Torn between bfg gforce kdw/2's or the azenis 615's(w rated)
both seem to have great reviews, but i know everyone has love the azenis for years.. but those were the 215's.
Running poly bushings bumper to bumper, new rack, new tie rod ends, new balljoints, coilovers, front and rear sway bars, 4 wheel teggy disc brakes, teg booster and m/c, front and rear upper and lower tie bars. now my tires are the weak link
Let me know your opinions guys. I've helped and been helped by you many times, and I trust you lots more than some random @#$@# saying. "deesss tyers sawked bawls"
Thanks in advance guys,
Dave

I'm running KDWs on RIO and the tires are nothing short of amazing. I did OK with them on the 1/4 mile (but I have nothing else to compare them to). However, at Pocono's North course I drove them real hard. That track has an abundance of hard corners and a 130mph straight. The tires handled flawlessly. They speak clearly at the limit giving a nice howl to let you know your about to cross to the dark side and they heated up nice and fast. Road noise is very low and if you drive in the rain they are excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set especially since the price was right!!
I'm running 205/50 r15 on a 7" wide wheel

Welp.
I got a deal on the 615's so I wrapped the car in'em this afternoon
I will let you guys know what I think the next moderately warm day we have after I get them worn in right. I will say, with the "NEW" still on them, they are still responsive, on par with my toyo t1s tires from old. And thats with the coating still on them. By this time next week I'll be able to give a much more in depth review.
As it stands, the ride quality is amazing, smooth on the road, you know when you hit bumps/imperfections, but it's not rough on you like my tires of old. easy turnin's, at the same speed, with much more turn left to them, I actually overcorrected 3 times on the way home and hugged the yellow
As I said.. I'll letcha know
Dave

umm.. for reference.
The tires handle well at 48 degrees ambient temp.. yes.
I was out breaking them in lightly, when a Paulding County Sheriff decided I was done. He picked the wrong road to tell me that so I finished the breakin tonight through the twisties in backwoods ass Dallas, Ga.
Can't wait until summer, when they can get warm, and truly shine
