stick to a darker tint for the back.. it's quite nice.. very JDM if u like..

i'm running 90%/60%.. loving it..

but the cops are starting to come after cars with dark tints over here.. sigh.. i'll have to take it out and put somewhat legal ones in by next week..

thats old school trend.....
no tint is the new thing......i hate my tint. only reason why i got it was so ppl wont look into my shit all the time whenever my car's parked. fuckin got sick of it happenin all the time. just looks so much less poser-ish with no tint.......well all the up to date jap cars dont run them. ala 326 power/burst/team julius/ultragroover/sexy knights.

i'd tend to leave tint for vip cars.

I am pleased with my stance considering what I use my CRX for. My steering and suspension is completely restored. I drive alot for my work. I have to go 50-200 miles per day. Down good roads and bad. I need the clearance for potholes, speedbumps, road trash, roadkill and RR tracks. I need the mud guards for the gravel/dirt roads. I need it to ride fairly smooth to keep from getting fatigued(I also have power steering). My car corners like a badass the way I have it setup. I am very pleased considering what I use it for.

I am 31, I don't want to look like a teenager driving around.

I now have the best looking CRX in the city that I work in and turn heads eveywhere I go.

I don't want it to look ghetto...I want to look classy. "Not saying lowering looks ghetto" that is sharp but no practical for me.

If everyones ride looked the same noone would standout.

CRX's are cool no matter what your setup.

I am the co-owner of a home medical/oxygen equipment business. I drive all over the F'n place to see patient's at thier homes.

I chose a CRX because they look cool, are fun to drive and get good gas mileage. It is also an automatic...not for performance but for convienience(but still performs really well). Try talking on a cell, looking for a persons house and shifting gears. I had to drive my wife's Teg for 2 weeks...fun to drive but a pain in the ass for my work.

I have had my Rex for over 3 years and restored from near junk yard condition. It is now in near new condition. I have replaced 75% of the car.

Well put. As long as you like your car who gives a shit about what anyone else thinks. And MOST CRX's are cool no matter what the set up.

Thanks Jadkar!

I agree I was hoping to stay around $2000, but everyone I went to quoted me $3000-$3500.

No one around here care about restoring a foriegn car.

I'm sure that I could have gotten it down around $2500 if I had time to install the hood, both door moldings, the front bumper and spoiler myself. I had it painted twice because several more dents showed up after the first paintjob. There were a ton of small dents/dings and some rear quarter panel rust. Also my driver's side door had been hyperextended and had alot of damage. If I did not have all of this to get done it should have been sub-$2500.

I can work on the engine but I am not a body man. That would have saved me some $$$.

I still have to replace the windshield and possibly both door windows.

I don't even want to know how much money I have put into the car over the past 3 years.

75% of that car is new. I'm not kidding.

BTW none of the damage was done by me. The car had 3 wheels in the junkyard when I found it.
