Resurfacing slotted rotors
Can slotted rotors be resurfaced? I tried doing a search but no luck. And can I trust the local auto store guys to do this? And is it worth it it?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Normally I would say its not worth it. But in this case it may be. (considering the cost of new ones)
Best bet is to talk to the guys at your local parts store and see what they say.

I resurfaced my crossdrilleds once, the key is to take off about half as much as you normally would for each cut

Its realy tricky with cross drilled rotors, make sure the cutting bitts are new and they know what they are doing otherwise they will break the bits off, and ruin your rotors, but it can be done.

most shops wont do it. i havent found one that does it yet cuz they complain that it will ruin their blades and what not. and that they cant cut them properly.
