I felt like a little ricer in my CRX today!
 I parked next to one of my dream cars yesterday. Of all places it was just south of Lancaster, Pa!!! EVERYONE was dropping jaws when they saw the car!!!!
Did a little research and found out where it came from and for how much
eBay Motors: Porsche (item 110054043594 end time Nov-16-06 15:26:28 PST)
I didn't even know yellow existed!!

I've only seen pictures of the car in silver, black, and red. It's not like I re-searched the colors of the car, only the performance

its an unwritten rule that if a car is worth more than 100 thousand bucks, you dont park next to it.
cause if you scratch it, the paint costs more than your car probably.

Oddly enough, there are a lot of nice cars in the lancaster area. I know of at least 3 lotus elises within 15 miles of me.

Don't get me wrong, GT2's are nice and so are Elise/Exige's, but they are nowhere near anything like a $350,000 - $400,000 car.
Elise's and Exige's are somewhat attainable goals, and although a GT2 is out of the realm pricewise for someone like me, it doesn't really make my head snap around when I see one. A Carrera GT on the other hand allows me to brake the rules of "I will compose myself in an adult manner.....afterall it's just a car." Ha........screw that, I got all giddy and checked that car out from bumper to bumper while the guy was still in the car!!

gt2 was like $200k. I would definately turn my head to check one out if it passed me

i dont remember ever running into $400k cars, but i do have a tendency to park next to the more expensive cars in a parking lot
sometimes because i think its funny
but on the other hand, at least they're not going to be throwing doors open and hitting your car.

lotus aint shit compared to GT's/zonda's/mclaren f1's/veyron's/ccr's
i was thinkin of gettin a lotus, fuck its cheaper than an m5 for cryin out loud. its no way near a headturner. we got so many in my area its like they're mx-5's.....

it's weird because i never seen Lotus Elises around here, i see more Ferraris and cars that cost 4x as much. Every year when i go to Indy for USGP though there is at least 20 Elises there. |

this guy with a ferrari f430 used to come into my restaraunt al the time while i was working, i used to gawk at that thing, then i was cruising the snacth back on the main road near my house and i see this red blur cruising up behind me, sure enough its him and he saw me in the hatch, knew how much time ive put into the thing and we cruised like that for about 5 miles or so, he was cool as hell and he understands my affliction with cars...
another side note: i cruise with this guys 911 all the time, he has a 3.5 maxima as a daily and hes a cool guy, his breath smells like shit though, met him int he restaraunt too
