I never realized how much bigger the plenum actually is on the y8. It's hard to judge but i'd say it's around double the size. Runners are also a little more equal as the 1/4 and 2/3 are the same lengths on the y8. By comparison, the 4/2 runners are the same length on the a6 with the 3 being shorter and the 1 being longer than those 2.

also something i noticed. In that how-to he says he's not sure what bracket to use for the intake manifold. It appears that you could use the a6 bracket if you drill/tap 2 holes on the bottom of the y8 manifold. You can see it on the back view really well, there are 2 tabs that are there, just not drilled in the same place for the a6 bracket.
i got a deal on the y8 manifold which is the only reason i did it. I swore i was done modding this car for a while but... yeah, didn't happen. After this i should be done for a while
it's coming together nicely. Only thing i need now is a fuel rail and some gaskets i think. I have to bolt everything together though and make sure it all fits to be sure. I hate doing rediculous hybrid stuff.
