new short throw shifter not short enough?!
i just bought a new shift knob with shift boot and short throw shifter, had her installed and it looks goofy, but it shifts nice, and i can feel a difference. i didnt know that short throw shifters are stock hieght. so i have to get it shortened some how and threaded again!

the problem with short throw shifters is that your shift time is really limited by your synchros. you can break them or bend shift forks if you really thrash on it. just an fyi.

easist way to shorten the height.. is cutting it in the middle of the shifter.... then rewelding it
take off a good inch...
if you cuut thought... i would weld the bend to sit as close as it can to the driver... so its easy to reach... it will looks likea weird bend though lol

i dont recommend anyone buy either of those.... they dont have oem fitment
most track whore in my state cut the OEM shifter
because its more percise, and you can custom fit it to ur seat position
