evil ways buildthread
well here i go with my build thread
i found this when i pulled out the tail lights, i never noticed it before
i found where water was coming in
start of a waterleak
a little rear end damage so i think i might have it looked at and see if it need to be straightend
just another shot of the rear damage
little rust on the pillar where the door latch hook is
empty interior
pulled the front end off so when i pull the engine out i can sand blast the engine bay and spray it white
and now a shot of the wiring mess i have to fix right

Rust!!...yummy...just kidding. Mine had and has rust issues. I am still working on removing it. I dunno about yours but I had rust around the air vent to the blower motor under the winshield. I am fixing that right now using aluminum pieces with rivets and some body sealant.

took the engine out
a close look at the engine bay and a little more rust to take care of
new SS brake lines put them in to make sure nothing would rub against the line
tomorrow i'm going to tear apart the rear suspension and brakes and test fit the rear SS brake lines and take some more pictures and i might also start doing some body work

Looks really good!! I'm glad to see another CRX project.........it makes me miss my journey. Just a few comments if I may be so bold. This is all just my opinion.
You have done so much work already I would do the following
1) Take your booster off and prep / paint behind it
2) While it's off repaint it black
3) Take the front cross member out of the car and prep / paint that black again.
4) Replace you gas tank!!! I don't know if you remember my posts but I tried to salvage my tank just to have to take it out later and replace it. They rust!! that's all there is to say. If there is rust on the outside then chances are it's on the inside too. I know it's a little more $$$ then you probably wanted to spend on that part of the project but it will be worth it!!
Car looks great man!!! One more thing, please don't paint it flat green again

i soo want to get a car and take it all apart (bare shell) and paint the inside and engine bay white. and put it back together, but id be so scared of fucking it up. I mean, taking EVERYTHING off the car!? but then you could only put stuff you need back on. (no PS, AC, heater core, door ringers, cruise control, temperature things, all that worthless stuff) but i got mad props for anyone who does that.

Don't be afraid of anything like this. It just takes patience!! These days with digital photography and the Internet you are never alone in the process. Back in the day I used to take photos with my film camera and hope I took the "right angle" because when I put stuff back together there was nobody to talk to about it. Honda dealers didn't want to bs with you and there was no "tuner" society or Internet. Hell all my friends were into American muscle and they had no clue about Hondas. Today the tables have turned!!

Yeah, i took out a bunch of crap from my car and after i put it all back on i have like 15 nuts and bolts and washers left over. I swear, when people weigh all the parts they take off their car to see how much weight savings they're getting, they should weigh all the nuts and bolts and rust. I have 4 coffee cans full of nuts and bolts and washers. Must be 15 lbs right there.

Yeah, and just think of all the weight you will loose when the rear trailing arm flies off the car because you forgot the bolts

i was thinking the same thing, but when i got into pulling it apart everything comes apart in sections so it's not that hard to put back together. i think the hardest thing about taking apart a 14 year old car is hoping that all the bolts come loose. the only thing i had problems were the left rear brakes line and a brake line from the m/c to the prop. valve other than that everything has come out smoothly
and as far as painting it i'm not going to paint it flat green again, it's going back to the factory color frost white
