How can I go faster than 112 mph?
My ECU (OBD-1 PR3) won't let me hit vtec in 5th gear. Thus preventing me from going above 112 mph. Is there a simple fix to removing the speed governer?

That's wierd, maybe you should get it chipped and run uberdata. You don't have to alter the maps at all, just check the box in the program that eliminates the governor and install it on a chip. I am seriously thinking about chipping my ecu cause with a bunch of programs you can have launch controll.

In my friends cavaqueer we just spliced a switch inline with the speed sensor, that way you just flip a switch and no more governer, but you also didn't have a speedo lol

That's a good idea though. In the past i'd heard of people completely unpluging it at the track to get the same effect but putting a switch inline makes much more sense.
