How did you do it...were you running a CAI without a bypass valve and go through some deep water?
That's what I did, but I wanted an excuse to swap.

So its Friday night and this girl(Miranda) and I are looking for something to do. My buddy called me up and wanted to know if we wanted to go bowling. She didn't want to and I wasn't hot on the idea, but there was nothing else to do so I talked her into going. So we drive over to the lanes in Richmond and start drinking. Her ex(I want to rip this guys jugular out with my teeth btw) calls her, she tells him who she is with and he says hes coming over. I get pumped and start doing shots of Jager. He never showed up because hes a pussy as worthless POS but thats a whole other story. So we go to leave and it looks like a goddamn moonsoon out side. I took off down the road and I couldn't see a damn thing at 10mph. I figure since I'm on 40(State Route big 4 lane road)that as long as I keep to my lane there is nothing to worry about. WRONG. I'm driving along and all of a sudden I get into some deep water, my front tires are barley touching the pavement. I see a road to the right that goes up hill so I cut over and made a break for it. Bad Idea, if I would have been thinking, I would have relized that road crown will mean the farther right I go the deeper the water is going to get. So like a jack ass I slam it in first and wide open shoot for this road. Annndddd were floating. The car died, the car is litterly floating, it felt like we were on a boat. Then Miranda starts freaking out, yelling OMG were floating, OMG your car is full of water. I look over and there is water over the bottom fo her seat. So I'm like fuck I got to get us out of here. It is still poring rain harder than I have ever seen and I open my door to have a bunch of water rush in my car. I had water higher than my knees(I'm 6'3" btw) and I have to push my rex which is floating against the current and up hill in the rain for about an 1/8th mile before I get it off the road. I ended up pushing it to a hotel, so I'm like well its been a shitty night but its 11:00pm so I'll just get a hotel room and go get trashed in the bar then worry about it tomorrow, also I was thinking maybe I can get lucky because surely Miranda will have to take her soaking wet cloths off. So we get a room, they tell me the bar closes at 11:00pm

, I hop in the shower real quick then come out sporting just a towl and lay down next to Miranda and say" You should probably get those wet cloths off before you catch a cold"

she was like"What? I'm not sleeping naked in the same bed as your horny ass"

So that didn't work out for me eaither. The next day I get a trailer and get it back to my house. I pull out the plugs and go to crank it but just get a loud clunk.

So I try to turn it by hand and get it to move one way till a certain point then the other way to a certain point. I take the head off and have my friend turn the crank and 234 are all moving like they are sopose to but 1 never fucking moved

And my front bumper got messed up also
Luckly I have a d15 out of a 4dr parts car I had, it has a buirnt valve but my head is fine so I can piece together a good runing engine for the price of some gaskets and maybe head bolts(I know, but you can get by sometimes without replacing them and since this is my dd and dosen't see any extreme cylinder pressures I can get by with out spending $130 on new ones).

My roomate has a few mins of video with me taking the rocker arms off just bitching away at this and that, I think its probably funny so I might post it after I watch it lol. Also I got really wasted last night and puked, now I'm at work for the next 12 hours.
Lets recap

I work all the time
I blew my engine
I didn't get laid
I messed my front bumper up
I puked
Now I'm at work and the next days I get off(first days in over a month, I litterly work 7days a week) I have to spend working on my DD instead of getting my stang ready for the dyno like I had planned

My friend told me he would give me his b18, but I would still need all the other stuff to make it work, I have a spare d15 so that is the logical route for me to go. But if some one wants to fund a swap I will gladly do it

sounds like that crx has millions of stories all of which i would love to read. bump draft racing through town?? that sounds fucking fun and retarded at the same time. alcohol was involved wasnt it? so was it for the other stories huh?? start talking.

Oh yeah, it is a legacy around here, everytime I see someone I haven't seen in a while they are like is that old crx still running?

The bump draft through town is something I started in the winter time.
Me and most of my friends all have two cars, one that is built and not something you can afford to drive everyday, and the other is a beater that we drive everyday.
So my friend had an 88 couger for his beater and it was snowing. About 2inchs of snbow on the road and I'm running around twon with a 6 pack of beer in my passenger seat drinking it and pulling the e brake. So about 9 am(I woke up at 6am and seen the snow so I grabbed some beer and went out to play) my friend with the couger calls me and says hes getting off work. I meat him at work and follow him back to his house. He started fish tailing down this road so I got in his rear bumper and spun him around. It was fun as shit so we ened up making a day out of it. Then thins just kinda kept going from there. We would see each other in town and it was on from there bumper to bumper 40-50mph through town, tring to spin each other out in corners, rear ending each other at stop lights, and I used to get bumper to bumper at a stop light then start burning out lol.

I ran over two mailboxes, one was an accident and it ended up on my passenger seat along with half the windshield

ditches have all been because I was drunk or hung over and thought I was going slower than I was and pulling the e brake

Fields, there is many many stories there, one involves my friends fourwheeler track and me drunk with an e brake

Hill jumping, all I can say is its a goodthing I replaced all my ball joints

There is also about 15 sex stories from inside and on top of that car

And the guy who owned it before me was a drunk that did coke, so you can only imagine what he put it through
