OMG...you have to look at this!!
This is the rarest CRX I have ever seen for sale. I saw this car in person back when I was 17!!!!
Basically this CRX is extremely special!! I have personally seen this car back in 1989 at a shop called AT Engineering outside of Danbury CT. The shop is now gone and I always wondered what happened to this CRX. It's probably the first turbo CRX ever in this country way before the ricers got a hold of CRXs!! It was built specifically for Road & Track by Corky Bell himself back in the Cartech days. The car only has 12000 original miles on it and has been tucked away in a garage for 10 years!! It has some serious history and was in several magazine articles.
If I hadn't just dumped mad cash into my own CRX I would have grabbed this in a heart beat. Somebody in here who's maybe looking for something very unique with history should really take a good look at this car. I emailed the current owner and he said that he is being very selective with who buys the car because it has so much history behind it.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
Before anyone says it's ugly or it doesn't make enough power you have to understand what it is!! This car was designed and built way before anyone was into imports!! The fact that it uses a water to air intercooler makes it pretty unique. I wouldn't even touch this car it WILL be worth mad money one day!! I would just leave it as is and drive it every now and then!!!
If anybody is even remotely considering looking into a CRX they need to check this out ASAP!!!

Haha sounds like what I would have done if I was alone when I saw this. That is seriously bitchin' though. Thats probably the only CRX left in the US with original mileage that low. Wonder how much they're lookin to get

I spoke to the guy and what he's looking to get he probably won't unless he finds an older guy looking to invest. He's looking for 10-15K. I would offer him 9K if I had it to blow right. However, if I bought the car it would barely ever get driven.
I can't believe it still has the AT Engineering graphics on the side. When I saw it I felt like I went back in time it's very strange for me. Anyway, I called up two Honda dealers I know that are into collecting cars and I sent IMs to some of my hard core NSX peeps. Somebody will jump on this car, I just hope it doesn't get bastardized. I think the only thing I would do to it if it was mine would be scrap the ECU and go with a Hondata tuned by Jeff. The technology wasn't available back then and I bet with the right electronics Jeff could squeeze another 20-30hp from this setup. This car made a great deal of news back in the late 80's and it's cool to see it survived unscathed!!!

Fuck a damn glasstop. This thread isn't even about that.
This car has 12,000 miles on it! That's like brand new!!! That car is a piece of history. This is the kind of car that will be on Barrett Jackson when I'm in my 40s and hopefully I can be one to bid on it
The only thing I would want when buying this car is to get all the magazines and any sort of media it was featured in.

Jadkar you should buy this car. It deserves a good owner. I couldnt imagine what some idiot that just watched the new fast and the furious would do to that car.
