pre-appology for length. im a story teller.

so theres this kid at work with a crx also (if you can call it a crx) thats b16 swapped. here are some pictures. i told the kid i knew a guy who was intereseted (its for sale) so that he would let me take pictures of it. haha-only to come post them here and trash talk him. this car has jadkars post ruled as far as ruining vehicles

the pictures speak for themselves.
so anyways the kid has been bugging me for quite a while. he's a real hot shot tearing out of the parking lot every night slam shifting and chirping his sweet ass steelies.
kid really abuses this car and thinks its fast as hell.

so he finally set me off last night when talking about the "kid i know who is interested". the kid that owns the car says "does he know mines all showy instead of plain and stock like yours.
on one hand i was flattered. because his style views on cars are obviously worthless and calling my car plain was a compliment. but it was still annoying that this kid has disgusting taste.

so we pull out of work and i roll nicely to the first stoplight, and this kid is slamming his system and mean mugging me like crazy. annnd i broke down and went for it.
had my car held at launch rpms and he couldnt hear me over the crackle of shitty tweeters.
blew his reaction time out of the water and at the end of 2nd gear i was 1/2 a car ahead of him.

had to let off just into 3rd because of traffic.... but the look on the kids face was a-mazing.
its not like i destroyed his life....

but good enough for my first b16 kill.

edit:: on second thought, it may be that he forgot to throw on the driving gloves featured in picture 3. i'll cut him some slack.

Haha man I didn't get to see the rest of that thread for some reason... Good kill though. B16's ARE overrated. Same amount of torque as a D series. I can't wait until mine is built

hahah that rex is horrible. and ive seen som ereally bad rex's.

what the hell was he thinking??? you can only paint sooo much of a car with spray cans and then it just needs to be done properly. i mean, hell, my wheels are painted with spray paint and they look 1000 times better than that interior.

1. i bet he was sucking up some really good hot air with that sweet short ram intake
2. his eyeballs must have been shaking from all the bass
3. the glare off the UGLY ass yellow dash must have been in his eyes

ok......that's about the worst rex i've ever laid eyes on...and i've been in this game since the early 90s......as a matter of fact.....i had a 91 crx Si w/ a B16 swap back in 97'. i guess there's no luv for the B16 in this thread huh?

I don't understand how it's just not even properly taken care of. There are no floormats, it's dirty as hell, etc. It looks like the build was poorly planned and implemented but then it was just left for dead anyway. Very sad.

God if I had the resources I would start "jadkar's home for the mutalated and forgotten CRXs" I could bring them in like stray cats and start a family of REXs

yeah. and the funny part is. he didnt even put the work into that car. he actually bought it that way...... FOR 2500

aaaaand now hes trying to sell it for $3500 obo. (and its an hf and has noooo air conditioning)
update: today he went from 1 sub to two 15"s.
it really sucks that he parks next to me sometimes and makes me look like an idiot. its bad enough that everyone who works there owns camaros/trans ams/mustangs/or huuge trucks and love to give me hell.
