High Tension Lead
I was gonna run a compression test on my car the other day after helping my friend run one on his prelude. (98'ludes) We went to run it on my car and couldnt find the high tension lead. Obviously my car has one but we cant find it. Any help would be great. Pictures would be a plus.

Why do you need to find the high tension lead for a compression test?

thats what chiltons said for my buddies prelude. I honestly dont know what you need the high tension lead for. But he said I needed it for the test and I couldn't find it. Oh well im pretty sure that my second cylinder is leaking because there is a little to much oil in it.
edit: sorry im drunk

I assume they want you to disconect it so the engine doesn't fire up when turning it over. Just for saftey. I would just disconnect the dizzy.

do you think there is oil in your cylinder cause of oil on the plug wire? if there is oil on your plug wire, i would just replace the valve cover gasket and that will come with new spark plug tube seals
but on your car you dont need anything other than the compression tester to do a test, no high tension lead needed

Not the plug wire I just noticed there was a little more oil on the actuall spark plug for the third cylinder. Nothing drastic getting a new motor soon anyways.

The manual for the compression tester just said to disconnect it and ground it somewhere, Im sure there are other solutions, like someone said its just so the engine doesnt fire .

To do a compression test 100% by the book you would have all the spark plugs out at once anyways, so why worry about this high tension lead, what the fuck is that anyways?

^^
That's what I always do. You have to test all the cylinders anyway, so just pull all the plugs at once and you no chance of having the engine fire up.
