sunroof
anyone know a place where i can find a sunroof panel cheaper than majestic honda?
i know im probably just gonna have to man-up and dump some cash- mine is rusty and needs to be replaced along with the seal. stuff is expensive.

It wasn't that bad...... try replacing a targa panel on a 1998 NSX-t

ON-topic.
there is no way of fixing the rust? is it rusted right through!? you COULD try to make your own. just take your original apart and see how it is. i would just try and bondo it and re-seal it.

No, you can't fix the original. The sheet metal used on the SIs sunroof is extremely thin and they rust from the inside out. Mine never had one pin hole on it but when you looked at it from underneath it was completely rusted out. It will save him a lot of time if he just coughs up the $176-

yeah. i had finally decided to quit being cheap and throw down the money for the panel. then i saw that the seal is 60 bucks and started being a cheapskate again. i cant help it its in my blood.

so, the whole roof is just rusted up?
if it's just parcial, just cut out a squear, and weld/sand the bish down and paint over it
|

The bottom of them rust right on the seam, then when you open it rust falls in your hair, I used to pick rust out of my hair all the time
