e-brake cable

hey guys well im having a tough time taking out one of the brake cable lines because one of them were cut. I know there is a little pin you take out underneath but its really stuck with rust and all that junk and once the pin is out all you gotta do is slide it out. Whats the best way to take it out without harming the calipers?
