(STICKY ME!) POST your TOP SPEED
What's the top speed you have gone?
2 categories:
1. in your CRX / civic
2. in anything else (you personally drove)
I'll start this off:
1. 128mph in my crx (measured by using the "crx math" page and my rpms read from an SAFC-II)
2. 177mph on my 2004 Kawasaki zx-10r (the speedo said 189mph, but I held it pinned till the revs stopped moving. That's supposed to be 177mph)

1. 130ish. Past the bottom of the cluster when i first got my crx. I don't think i've been over 110 since.
2. see crx. I did go 116 in my dad's drag car the first time i drove it. That was kinda weird.

on my speedo of my hatch, the speedo stops at 135, but i went about 10-15 mph past that, not very accurate, so i dont know
but in my buddies hatch, we got the needle back to 0 and went another 3k rpms, that was strait scary, we smoked a supercharged s2k and he topped out before we did, built b16 w/ ls tranny 9k rev limit

I've gone about 130 in my rex. It was going downhill but still. My car sees 100mph on a daily basis.

I went 135 in my 1963.5 Ford Galaxie fastback I restored. I was much younger, and way dumber then.
In the rex, I went 105 once - I'm old now, and that shit scares me, on the street.

about 151 in my Teg RS with B18c5 swap. Built head with P&P job on it. But that was only in 4th gear being that I still had an LS tranny on it. never went into 5th gear.

on my 99 r1 188, but guessing closer to 200, due the fact that the speedo stops at 188

1. I've hit the limiter on the civic quite a few times so that would be 120
2. The VW does 135 and feels like its only doing 60. it can do more but they limit it there. steering dampners are nice to have
