Need Help!!! First time Integra B18 into Civic swap
I now this topic is somewhat out of place in the CRX forum but I trust you guys and don't know anyone in the other forums.
You may remember me posting about racing my buddy with the 98' Integra LS? Well, he got hit the other day and the body is a loss. The B18 (non-vtec)and standard tranny are still in perfect condition.
He has a 90' Civic EX sedan auto tranny with a fried D16 in it that we are going to try and drop the B18 and standard tranny into.
We are doing research on how to do this. I just wanted some help and guidance from you guys. We would like to go plug and play as much as possible and need to know where to get the harnesses and the motor mounts. Any other tips or links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Sean

Sean, first look at www.hasport.com they can take care of you with the wiring issues and mounts, and axles and shift linkage. To convert from auto to stick, you must source the clutch pedal assembly, the firewall is already set up for the pedal, you just have to drill for it.
If you still have my number you can call if you guys get into a bind

Thanks guys. We are on hold for now while we do research to make sure it is worth it. My buddy(Mitch) is going to get another estimate on his Integra. The first one was 6K. It runs for now and he can drive it, but it looks like someone moved the front end 3 inches to the right. I had to pry the inner fender off of the A/C compressor and the PS pump. He thought that the radiator was busted but it was washer fluid and PS fluid...it was dark. As of now he is weighing out the options...swap or fix.

What he said
No really..... Hasport is the way to go
Mounts
linkage
driveshafts
wiring conversion (rywire can also help)
Converting the pedal assembly should be fun. It's a non-VTEC so it shouldn't be that bad. Does the civic have A/C?? If so you will need a adapter plate to mount the Civic compressor onto the B18 engine. Hasport can help with that, but I got mine from JDM SH!T for much cheaper.

The thing that will probably be the most work is the auto to manual conversion. Just know that the the tranny from the integra is a hydrolic tranny. Not sure whats in that civic. But hasport is the way to go.

I agree! Dropping the motor in will not be too difficult with the right conversion kits, but the tranny conversion may be more trouble than its worth. I will certainly keep everyone posted.
If we choose this mission, I will post pics as we go! Thanks guys.
