Does the JDM Heating unit...

if its anything like the prelude jdm climate control, then no, there are a few modifications you have to make.

no, it's a big conversion, deffinatly not plug and play. You need all the sensors to start with and i don't think anyone has gotten one completely functional.

thats what i figured too, except the way you explain it, it sounds like the lude jdm climate control is a little more fesable.

Its a lot of work, you actually need the entire wiring harness with sensors, I got a hold of everything, including the rare Kanji Face display, heres some pics of mine.
