tranny question

I have a jdm b16a tranny, I am looking for a 5th gear synco set. Now I have been told that a 1992 integra gsr set will work?? I have also been told that you cant jdm tranny parts here?? I really only want a factroy honda set, I've heard bad stuff about non oem parts??

They are an official rebuilder for honda and you can get synchros directly from them. You may need to find an authorized dealer.

EDIT: Just wanted to note that these would be the ONLY synchros I would ever put into a tranny if I were building one.

well heres what hannpens when you make the smallest mistake
not the greatist photos but hopefullt you can see

the brass syncro actually broke this!!




once again i had to tear the tranny aprart

Tore mine apart on Monday! Wow, in some sort of sick way it was kind of fun.

Looks like you've got some parts to be replacing there. Have fun with that!

its been a learning expereance!! i actually got the parts from gearspeed, real nice guys!!
yea my pics arnt the greatist i was in a hurry, thought they looked better than they really did sorry
when we tore the tranny back apart, i was in 5th gear, and whatever other gear i wanted to be in!!! just a little mistake or misalignment was a 175 mistake
