You need an ECU adapter on any model CRX. The Si's are a little easier to do but at the ECU side you still need an adapter.

ok so ill just need an adapter for the dash stuff to the p28? Does all the usual harness sites have it? Also here in Mo. we dont or at least in bfe we dont have emissions testing and i was wanting to clean the bay up alittle and i was wondering what all shit i can take off that might be emissions related or not. Thanks

OK would it be this one? http://locashracing.com/store/produc...products_id=39
if so will it matter that im running the full z6 harness from the motor all the way to the p28? or are the obd0-obd1 harnesses just intended for the dash compnents?
I think i just realized how much a duche i am, but im going to wait to see what is said first....shit

Um.. i hate trying to give wiring advice over the internet haha.
But if your car is running fine off obd0 in mpfi form, the conversion harness with dizzy/o2 sensor/p28 installed should run perfectly. I'm not sure how you're doing it but the DPFI harness has a couple things in the wrong places for an MPFI ecu so the conversion harness won't work without that being done.

Ok, this is what im doing. I have the stock z6 harness that goes all the way to the ecu that includes the one that goes though the firewall into my p28. Now the only prob i can see is that i dont know if the dash harness will plug into the p28. Im not using any dx harness except the one in the dash thats it.

Well this is my issue with everything your saying.....
What the hell is a "dash harness"??
My plug that goes into my ECU consists of roughly 40 pins (rough guess) some go through the firewall to the engine, some go back up into the dash. But there's no specific "dash plug", the loom is all wired together and is fed into the ECU plug.

Conversion harness is the way to go. Now like Njn said giving wiring advice on the internet is nutty because everyone's set up is a little different.
You WILL have problems somewhere...it's just bound to happen. My project was 9 months doing and 9 YEARS planning and I still had huge problems. I had a wiring gremlin that took me 3 weeks to solve. Many CRX gurus here remember that nightmare.

i think it'd be way easier to just convert to mpfi obd0 and then use a obd0 -> obd1 conversion harness. I think i've said that like 5 times though haha.

Yeah, i just read that post and pressed back because you had already checked everything i could think of. I have an HF right now that i've spent hours trying to track down wiring problems in. Seriously rediculous. I'm lucky in the respect i can go to my black car and see how it's supposed to be but it's still the biggest headaches ever.
