First Video on the road with RIO
Karen and I managed to get a baby sitter tonight. So we went out for dinner and of course a quick video session The video is about 27meg & 4 minutes!! Again, I'm no video editor so there's no techno music in it and you can even hear Karen calling out "Holy Shit!!" halfway through.
There's basically 3 hard runs.
1) Right in the beginning I make a right hand turn in first and punch it. REALLY good sound of me lighting second gear until red line.
2) Is from a standstill and Karen is looking at the instrument cluster. The gauges are hard to read so here's a shot of my cluster. You can use this as a refrence. 100MPH is basically the number "straight up" on the speedometer.
3) This run is after the second set of railroad tracks. I literally start this run from second. Now you can see what I mean when I say I don't need first gear!!
4) The last run is at the end, I make a right on red. Light throttle through first then I hammer second gear.
I even have a little glimpse of the cars handling...at about 2 minutes 44 seconds I go into a hard right hand sweeper at about 75-80mph. This turn is insanely tight and I wasn't even near her limits
Enjoy the blower whine Right click and "save as"
Fun Run with Karen April 2nd
