CV axle what "car" should I ask for when I buy the axle?

As many of you know or those who read my signature can tell, there is not much CRX left to my CRX. I was under the car chasing a suspected coolant leak (can't find one) and saw slung grease around the tranny and engine near the right CV axle. So, yep, need to replace it. My problem is this:

I have a B18c and the knuckle hub is a 92 Integra. What do I need to ask for at the parts store? When I converted from the 88 CRX hub to the Integra hub I did not have to change CV axles if that helps.

Thanks. I have another issue I need to ask but will need to take a picture first.

I'd bring the old one in just to be sure...or ask jadkar...although he upgraded his hubs I think to ITRs he may know more about how they mate up.
I currently have one CTR axle and one GSR axle but I would imagine the EK and DC hubs have more in common than the EF/CRX hubs.

100% sure. I don't think it matters if they are ABS or not, BUT i would play it safe and get non abs if they ask you.

I was told at another web site it depended on my intermediate shaft but I should be asking for a 90-93 Integra LS shaft. Thanks for the help.

Well, yes technically it depends on the intermediate shaft. If for some odd chance they installed the motor using 94+ teg axles or 00-01 si axles then it would have a different intermediate shaft. More than likely (98% of the time..........uneducated guess ) people use DA axles.

Because the DA half shafts have a female end on the drivers side and a male end on pasenger side as to the DC axles have male ends on both sides of the half shaft...

just a quick add on .___.

I forgot to add I have a hydro ITR tranny, not a cable tranny. Apparantly that makes a big difference.

Nope, DA axles fit into the hydro tranny

I have DA axles and the same tranny as you.
