So what motor are you putting in?

Also I'd like to point out that one of two things is going to happen:
1) Little things (or big things) will go wrong and you will still be working on the car on Sunday afternoon
-or-
2) By some miracle you finish the swap by 2:00 on Saturday

Now #1 is the most likely by far but if #2 should happen there is no way you will want to go to work! You're going to want to drive that puppy for hours and hours

So I also recommend having another ride handy

oh its going to be going till sunday for sure.. just found out that the main guy that is going to be helping and knows his shit, is backing out, i knew this would damn well happen. ugh. i couldnt get a hold of him for the longest time tonight, then at 12:30am, i phoned him again, but i blocked the # and this chick answers, and she's like who's this. and i'm like a friend of chris' and she said hold on.
he came on the phone and i was like wtf guy, why havent you been answering your phone calls, and he was at a party and shit, and i asked if he is coming to do this install tomorrow morning and he said no, cause he has to work from 6am - 2pm which is BS, cause he works for best buy canada (the big box store) and best buy doesnt open till like 9 or something.
so whatever i said to him, so now this is screwed up and we cant hardly do anything tomorrow cause of you and then there was a long pause........................ya.
i said whatever and hung up.
i really hate when people say shit and dont back they're word up. pisses me right off!

so ya garaunteed its going to be going till sunday. possibly monday if we take it slow, just means more damn money to spend on renting shit.

EDIT: sorry, lol the 90 crx si, has a sohc zc engine in it, and i have a dohc zc that i'm gonna put in. mostly all the bolts and wiring harness plugs are off. just gotta disconnect a few things and pull the engine, my 2 friends that are helping me, one of them said, i'll twist wrenches, but i aint touching the electrical. lol so i'll have to do that myself.

well saturday is here. looked it all over and shook our heads. my two friends are domestic peeps, and would of had the engine out in 1hr. but, we were not organized at all. we need more tools, jack stands, extra lights, small chains, WD-40 and thats about it. so hopefully tomorrow i can get the day off and also monday as well.

Dude you sound very unprepared. I don't think this swap will get done in a day or two. Like seriously, no jack stands, WD-40 (I like Liquid Wrench), or lights? That's like going golfing with a driver and a putter.....

I would give up on that mechanic guy, he obviously doesn't care. Oh and you can work at 6am at Best Buy (which they have in the US too lol), my friend works at Futureshop and if he opens, it can be that early. I don't think he's lying.

DAMN IT! lol.....>< lolol...ah well. i'll just phone around to mechanic shops tomorrow, and find out how much they can do it for. last time when the engine was completely intact most of the shops asked 1000$ for it and honda even said they would do it for 700$, so now that most of the parts are off and bolts too, i'm sure they would charge a lil less than that.
