msd plug wires

at my last track day i was devolping a bad miss in the high rpms, almost like a rev limiter. I looked and looked and descovered that the plugs wired were comming off the cap. I'd push them back on, go back out and 5-7 laps later bingo a miss again, wires working there way off again!!
does anyone have a suggestion to help out with my problem??

Common problem with MSD wires, mine are doing the same thing and I'm not even on the track yet.

Solution!!
Take a Phillips head screw driver (slightly larger than the fitting inside the connector) and push it into the connector on the wire end. This will "spread" the connector apart slightly. You will notice the connector will "click" a little better when pushed onto the cap now. THEN....for good measure, take a small black zip tie and fasten it around each connector on the cap. Make them tight!! They won't come off again
