Now I'm starting to get really excited!!!

I fixed my exhaust tonight, brought my fuel pressure up a little bit started her again and she runs nice and smooth. No hesitation what so ever!! It's funny the "generic" fuel map from Jeff Evans seems to be running my car better then the "tuned" MAP from NYCRPM.

I tossed the fender and liner back on and all the intercooler lines are nice and hidden. You almost can't even tell this car is FI!!

Later tonight I'm going to put the front bumper back on and tomorrow I have to replace a torn inner CV boot on my BRAND NEW Hasport axle. Yes, HASPORT strikes again!! Drive shaft with under 150 miles on it has a torn boot and is spewing grease all over the place.

Once the boot is replaced I'm gonna take it for a quick spin. Jeff said not to drive it too hard because we haven't dyno'd it yet. However, I have to lean into it a little bit to make sure the charger is working OK. One other thing, I think I should pick up a boost gauge so I can see what this thing is doing. Right now I'm blind as to how much boost she's putting out.

Anyway, Thursday is gonna rock!! Karen's gonna follow me to Jeff's, hang with me for a little and then go shopping. I can't wait to see what this thing is gonna put out. I'm hoping for at least 250whp, and I think with the intercooler and 9-10psi I'm gonna be there easily.

It's gonna be great!! and yes I'm bringing my video camera!

250 easy! Boost gauge is a great idea. Any chance in getting one on before you get it tuned?

I hope!! I think I'll just pick up a mechanical boost gauge I just want to get a quality meter...not some Pep Boys junk

Unfortunately I CAN sleep. I have had such a bad 2 nights with my job. Last night I was woken up and I worked until 4:30AM. I came about 30 seconds away from having to hop in my car and drive to our data center

Anyway, I was supposed to post some logos tonight but I'm behind schedule with my car so I had to prioritize

I put all the body work back on, took care of the CV boot, tossed the tires back on. Started her up and ran through my checklist of "things to be checked that I messed with". Everything looked good so I took her for her first spin.

Now Jeff gave me a generic fuel map that he must have had from another SC B18, so he told me not to get into it that hard because we don't know if I'm running too lean and what not. So with that said, I only gave her about 3/4 throttle and only took her to 5K rpm and let me tell you.........

OMG This thing is a F'ing animal!!! At part throttle you here nothing the by-pass valve is letting air go around the SC. But lean into it a little and it sounds like a jet engine building up RPM....very quickly!! I have heard turbos before but this is insane. It's like a turbo and a mechanical gear whine. It's nuts!!! First gear is absolutely a joke. I let her out slow in 1st up to 3K and then jumped 3/4 of the way into the throttle and INSTANTLY the front tires went up in smoke...and I have an LSD!! I hit second and it went through it like my NSX went through 1st!! Honestly, there is NO NEED for 1st gear. The rest of the night I started in 2nd and it has so much torque that it actually starts easier then the stock Si did in 1st gear!!

All I know is this car isn't even tuned yet!! He still has to mess with my cam gear timing, ignition, and put her on the dyno. This car is gonna be stupid fast. What I'm beginning to realize is it won't have as much power as a turbo car but it's gonna have so much "usable" power spread across the entire band. I mean the way this car takes off at 2K RPM is just nuts!!

I can't wait to get some video up!!

Be careful with that LSD. It is a good LSD for an all motor car. Now that you've up the power quite a lot and substantially increased the tourque, I would be very cautious on hard launches.
