C'mon, lets take that thing to an auto-x for a shakedown. I need to get out and tear up my tires so I have an excuse to get some new ones.

The car is not setup for autocross, but hell I'm down!! Pick one and I'll meet ya. I owe you a trip to your place anyway. I'm just busy the weekend of April 22nd & 23rd, so let me know.
I took my neighbor for a ride today and he almost shit himself

Heck, mine's just as poorly set-up for autox as yours. I just want to have some fun and still be the slowest car out there. I tend to like the NNJ region b/c I like E-town. It's a fun drive for me and I like the larger parking lot. Plus there's the sound of the drag strip in the back and go karts. Once Thunderbolt Raceway opens up in South Jersey then you can make the long trek down here.
Maybe some others will want to go. I've seriously gone by myself b/c no one would go with me. It's fun to meet new car people.

Blake .... Actually you telling me about Jeff Evans was probably the best thing that happened to my car (besides me buying it 16 years ago ) Anyway, I've told you many times privately and now will publicly ......
Thanks

BTW.....there's a test & tune meet in Ringwood on April 8th, that's 20 minutes from my house
My car's gonna be the biggest joke there. All you do at an autocross is 2nd and 3rd gear the whole time. Well, in my car 2nd gear is a waste and with all those tight turns I'll have to have serious self control or I'll burn through my tires in one afternoon

Trust me....I'll need 3rd.
but ...really it depends on the track. At the meadowlands our courses were huge. I hit 3rd in the 911 all the time. Every track layout they gave us at least one really long straight. Remember it was Giant Stadium parking lot The tracks were so big there we actually had some guy build enough speed that he rolled his M3.

Yea, but the BMW guys are and can't . (Man I hope they never read that )
I'd say that E-town is a good 40-50 sec course.
