I know it seems silly, but the DPFI is such a bottleneck, you want it to grab air as fast as possible, having a CAI will only restrict it more (I've tried). This setup is the best for DPFI IMO.

this guy's posted this on a few sites, and now my 4th gen board. doing this to your engine is absurd. it's like, poof! there goes your ability to regulate air flow into your engine. TPS and MAP probably end up confusing the hell out of the ECU.

If I wanted a metal plate to stop my engine from getting air I'll buy a turbonator.

Idiot removed the wrong metal plate. I don't even know how his car is idling without the TB. Dx's do have a metal plate before the TB that can be removed. I removed mine, but didnt honestly notice a difference.

If you cut all of the runners off, and tape the injectors into the holes, while removing useless power drainers like.. oil pumps, alternators, water pumps, oh.. and lets not forget, the timing belt.. that thing takes alot of power to turn those @#$@# cams, cut the belt, free up some power..
I haven't went for a ride in mine yet since the mods, i think my fuel pump isn't working.. i can't get it to start.. but when it does.. you bitches best look out.
