Like I said though.. I work alot and don't have time to rebuild the thing. So I was looking for a complete rack.. something I can swap in a half hour or so. Called the guys at carsteering.com, he says the manual si rack was the same in all the si's. Comes complete from bellows to bellows, which sounds pretty friggen sweet for $210

LMK how it goes. I have changed out my rack with a used one to get some of the play out of the steering...didn't help much.

I would just buy a rebuilt rack instead of a "used" rack

I bought a used one. It didn't have too many miles. $30. It did not seem to improve anything. I have replaced the tie rod ends, steering wheel, steering column, and the connecting joint (between the column and the R&P). That took most of the play out of the steering. The problem started when I went to the LP tires/16x7 rims. The only thing left to replace for new is the rack and pinion.
My problem is the "road walking". My car tries to go all over the place. I have to wrestle with it just to keep it going straight sometimes. I have rotated the tires and had it aligned. I have replaced all the struts, strut mounts and rear control arm bushings...it still road walks.

I guess I will have to live with it?
