Clutch adjustment
Just got the new clutch installed in the 91 SI, and the pedal still has no feeling until just before the floor. Seeing that it is a cable tranny, is there a way to tighten the pedal so it engages a little sooner?

Yes, the adjustment is a little plastic nut down by the end of the cable near the trans. I don't remember which direction to rotate it but experiment turning it a couple of turns in each direction and see what makes it better. Once you know the direction keep turning it until you get the correct amount of "free-play.

No, there's a clutch alignment tool to help you center the disc during installation but no adjusting tool. The adjusting nut is just small and plastic, you can turn it with your hand.

freeplay on the cable you want around 1/16th of an inch freeplay so it stays tight, yet dont always have pressure on the clutch
