2000 ex REBIRTH!!

well the plan was to do a B swap. but I scraped that got a JDM d15b an ex tranny and loads of suspension .

so far the front susepension is torn off, engine is out and thats sadly it . NH winter is kicking in and its COLD plus Im always bussy during the wrestling season.

parts that are siting here:

Balljoints
delsol VTEC rear swaybar(15mm) all the other little BS to make it work is in the mail.
e-brake lines to finish the rear disk swap.
EX tranny to replace my DX one, being striped and cleaned then im painting it some aluminized paint
Omni power front camber kit

to get :

60mm throttle body
ebay CAI
my water temp, oil temp, oil press gauges.(wondering whats best place to put all of these)
bone head performace clutch line
SI proportioning valve(will any others work as well/better?)
Earls braided SS brake lines.

thats about it

Im basicly droping around 1500 into the car to get it to a nice all around daily driver and will love the abuse!

cleaned to all hell, sanded and then aluminum paint .I will be replacing the axle seals.

where im at right now. its out just havent swung it out.

what got me here . damn y8 oil pumps lol.

my FAVORITE box to see EVER!!

here are a few more pics.

mmmm JDM goodnes

was suposed to be a longblock but They gave me everything minust the ECU and dizzy . harnes sniped at firewall. GREAT for it being a longblock!

all engines are compression checked and my results
9.2ish(not sure of US equivelant. #2 seems a taaad lower but still in breat shape.

Im wondering about just which general parts I should be buying?? I plan on replacing the timing belt, water pump and other things of that nature. should I just buy everythhing for a z6 since thats esentialy what this is?

I would like to thank CNS motors INC. for their GREAT custumer service, pricing and FAST shipping(10 days from order to door)

they are on ebay tel: 714-554-0661

Is the engine obd1? You are going to have to swap or rewire a couple things. Good work though. Glad i'm not the only one dropping thousands of dollars into my car.
