Fastest swap
What would be faster, a 96 hatch with an H22, or a 96 hatch with a K20?

eh, i'd say H22 just because of the higher torque. The k20 has far more potential though.

K series FTW...theres a guy on crsx that ran a 10.9 on a complete stock k20 in his rsx-s...just believe that setup in a hatch ...

I was trying to find graphs on the same axes for a K20 and one for an H22 so you could compare but these are the best I could find
Prototype Racing Inc Honda K20A Dyno Charts
My h22 dyno Results - Accord Tuner
You want area under the curve, and look at where the torque comes in. Looks like they're pretty close but all other things equal I would go with the K20.

Yeah, all things equal except the price. The K20 is almost twice as expensive a swap as the H22. Which weighs more, i wonder? I think that, overall, the K is the "better" engine.

it only weighs something like 35 lbs more than a B16A according to this guy.
is the K20 lighter than the B16?

I've always heard 75 pounds for the h22 over the b-series. I don't like that comparison because he weighed a few parts and just said "well, the rest will be insignificant." He also was weighing bottom ends with rods/pistons/sleeves so he might as well of weighed the block and crank.
I think in actuality it's around 60 pounds difference but that's just a guess. Shipping weights say 75 pounds difference but no one keeps the h22 a/c and p/s and stuff which is probably bigger.
