I've got a d16z6 in my 94 civic ex and it's got 244,000 miles on it. Now it doesn't seem to be letting up(knock on wood) but i think it would be good to be prepared if something did go wrong. As i see it, i like 3 ideas if the engine let go: A b16, a JDM d15 vtec, or rebuild the z6 with A1 pistons. Now i have to be honest, i'm leaning toward the d15 but i would like your opinions. Now, with the Z6/A1 combo, what kind of power gains am i looking at when compared to the d15. I think it would bump the compression into the high 12's(with 2 headaskets of course). Ideas? Thoughts?

b series swap will be more fun..but dont go b16..i say go either ls/vtec or gsr..I'd go ls/vtec..its cheaper and they do move..
