Light Touge build :) JDM D15B

ok well she pased on me rod bearing tongue.gif. so I hit ebay up and a JDM d15b is about 480 bucks shipped no tranny so im hopping on that.

Cars primary uses
1)daily driver
2) winding mountain roads for long periods of time(high rpm constant)
3)1/4 mile drags not my thing but I do run it in this.

now I will have all winter to build her up. I want to keep the engine fairly stock as far as internals just want to do the fallowing

-port and polish/3 angle valve job/flow match the ports ect(exospeed??? what are some good places to do this???) basicly I want this just to give the engine a nice smooth feel and to let her breath up top.

-Cam(same as for z6???) I was thinking crower II and springs just to keep her peppy all throught the power band. what cam gear should I use???

OILING

well since my previus y8 dided I want to keep this item a no way to fail deal.
I wantto get the crank scraper from Crank-scrapers.com Product 1 and the oilpan trap door.
the current theory of how the y8 died is it was a combo of the oiling issue stock and hammering on it in the corners oil sloshed and starved a bearing.

also I will be making sure to run oil tep gauge, oil pressure gauge, water temp gauge to keep an eye on all paramaters.

I wont be runing PS or AC so Im thinking of going with a nice 4-1 header and doing a DIY cold air intake along with an edelbrock intake maifold w/ B series Throttle body to give bood responce.
Crome to tune (use the stock p28 map as a base??? chip ECU that comes with it???)

any tips or ideas on what to impreove would be AWESOME! I will have most of the winter to put all this together so time is no issue.
