h22 questions

I dont know a whole lot about h22's and i was just wondering if my motor is a j-spec or what it is all it says is h22a with no # after it and i know it has a limited slip tranny and domed pistons in it.

i was also wondering if i will have trouble fitting an aftermarket intake manifold in the hatch becaust it doesnt look like there is too much room in there as it is?

if you bought the engine + tranny combo and it has lsd, i am leaning toward jdm. usdm predludes never came with mechanical lsd

I can almost garuntee that's jdm, def. not usdm. What model civic do you drive? Alot of the space around the engine depends on what mounts you use.

Its in a hatch and i have hasport mounts and there isnt a whole lot of room in there

depends on the style of intake manifold. For the most part, aftermarket intake manifolds have a hard time fitting into a civic chasis with a H22/F22 swap. Like for instance, a JDM Type-R Style intake manifold won't work. I would assume theres a company that makes one for your application though...

but my knowledge is limited on H22 swaps as there is a handful in aurora that i have had experiance with...

I'll see if i can dig up anymore information...
