AutoMeter Gauges

hey guys I've been thinking about putting a tach into the Echo...as some of you may not know the generation echo didn't have a tach put it....just a rev limiter. Well I've been looking and a bunch of echo guys use the AutoMeter model 2303
http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...gid=2482&sid=1

does anyone have any knowledge of if this is a good/accurate tach?...or if anyone has any suggestions. I just want something so I can see my rpms...i miss the extra needle lol.

i've had no problem with Auto Meter gauges. I've seen a few boost gauges that were inaccurate but they were consistently inaccurate if that makes sense... they were always off by the same amount. I really think a lot of the higher priced gauges are just hype.

Auto Gauge is the lower end of Auto Meter. I don't have any experience with them but i doubt they'd be bad. I might try to look if you could get a real Auto Meter one though.

well for what i want the autogauge is it all. I just want a tach I don't care about a tach light, and I only need it up to 8000 rpm. since the echo red lines at 6600 ( i think). I also don't really want to spend more than 100 on a tach.
