best place in an s2000 trunk is where the tool kit goes. fiberglass/bondo/mdf

yeah, that's the best place to put it.... dont worry about it though, unless you really just wanna design something, and I'd be more than happy to build it...
last night I went out and bought a pre-built enclosure, just cause I'm impatient and wanted it finished, installed last night. It fits perfectly in the trunk where the tools are, sits pretty tight, so it only has the ability to move around maybe an inch or so in any direction.
but yeah, if you still wanna design one, be my guest and give me something good to build. the install was just a quick one, and it does the trick... it's just not show quality (what I'd like it to be)

^ no real design needed. bondo the inside of the well. then fiberglas over it. cut a square of mdf that will fit over it. make that piece so you are able to screw it into the 1inch lip that hangs over the well. cut the hole for the sub before you screw the mdf down. then more fiberglass from the under side of the mdf, where it meets the metal lip of the well. let it dry, and if you did it right it will be air tight. just gotta figure out the best way to run the speaker wire into there
