Yeah I went wit the alpine cos I've been buying Pioneer and never tried Alpine. I heard ecllipse were good but didn't like the non detachable face.

I blew my alpine speakers but. What brand speakers sound killa?

Alright alex, i install audio equipment all day as well as selling it. I have installed the 9857 and the pioneer. The 9857 is very classy looking, just a basic blue for the 4 main buttons everything else is a gloss black, charcoal and silver color. IMO the alpine looks better. Do you have an ipod?...for bout 20$ you can hook up the high speed cable to the 9857 and run it in your glovebox. Everything on your ipod is now controlled through the deck. The layout for the menus are a little slow but its a good feature. For ipod connection on the pioneer you need an integrater for around 50$ you can have your ipod hooked up but you now have to hide this black box somewhere in the dash. +1 for the alpine. They both sound very similiar but tunability is key. The alpine has a very easy to use menu layout and can be tuned easily. Thepioneer is a little harder to ghet used to the menu format and a little harder to tune. I could type more but i have a few things i need to do. If you have any more questions PM me

speakers. Alpine are gonna have a bit more bass than all the rest of the speakers out there. I would suggest thoose for the rears. For fronts i would suggest a pioneer or an infinity. We sell infinitys where i work and they have amazing vocals. Are the 180's 4X6? I would suggest what i have. A pioneer 3-way. Its a damn nice set up IMO.

I have Pioneer 6x9s at the back. They're decent. but now i'm running just one 6.5" and 2 tweeters cos one speaker blew.

6x9's?holy shit! 180's have thoose? Over here we have shitty 4x6's all around. Definately get alpine type-r's for the rear and the type-s for the front. Tweeters too?...damn 180's must have killer audio capabilities.

haha yeah it's stock straight outta da factory. As u said stock ford probe.

Yeah i had type s for the front but one of em blew. Needs a subwoofer but my amp for it blew too.
