Here's his piece and my piece
Note the hubcaps and huge ghetto dent, roof rack, random scratches etc...but he cleaned up in H-Stock

i remember this guy on a miata forum im on that drifted at an auto-x and pissed off all the old people.
he was still only about 1-2 seconds behind the people in his class

Vettes, Stangs and Camaros drift all the time at these things. There was a skidpad as part of the track I did in July and you had to go around twice. Most of them would just hang the ass end out but there was an SVT and a Z06 that straight drifted the whole thing - it was beautiful. the peoples were cheering.
They dont mind if it's controlled, they just worry about if you hook up by accident you could take off in the wrong direction.

The dent and yakima roof rack caused so much aero loss that he probably lost 4 seconds a lap

yeah me either... only thing I've ever seen here in Atlanta is SCCA SOLO II... and even that only happens a handful of times per year, and it's always packed and I always miss it anyway.
