Game over for hybrids man. Game over, all testing to date, puts it about 30% lower emmisions than most production vehicles.. and thats WITHOUT A CATALYTIC CONVERTER!!
That thing is using the 2-stage VTEC engine, which is the exact engine I wanted to drop in my CRX. Supposedly that engine gets near 55mpg using liquid fuel but finding the ECU for it is uber hard. This place in Atlanta had that engine in stock in fact, but I had to pass on it becuase they couldn't find the ECU.
Yeah I was in awe when I saw that too, I think there was another car, the ARIEL or whatever, using a Honda engine that was a quick whip, but it was more of a built type car thing then a gas saving car.
But still, 92 mpg and 0-60 in 5 seconds, sign me up.
